Send your phone number from the device that registered to grievance@axhy.app with subject “Data Deletion Request”. We confirm in 72h.

In the app

Open Axhy Worker → Profile → Delete my data. Confirms with OTP.

    Account frozen, no new data collected

    PII anonymized (name, phone, Aadhaar hash)

    Photos & GPS purged. Work records retained (anonymized) for tax and audit.
What happens to your data

What is retained (anonymized)

Work records — timestamps, GPS coordinates, AI scores, and work duration — are retained in anonymized form. These records no longer carry your name or phone number, so they cannot be used to identify you.

This is necessary because historical work data is used for business analytics, AI model improvement, and payroll audit trails required by the employer company. Permanently deleting operational records would make it impossible to reconcile past payroll or resolve disputes.

Common questions

Do I need to log in to request deletion?

No. You can email grievance@axhy.app with your phone number. We will verify your identity through the phone number match and process the request.

Will deletion affect my payroll records at my employer?

Your employer's payroll records are their own data, separate from Axhy's user data. Axhy anonymizes its own copy of your work data. Your employer may retain their own records independently.

Can I request deletion on behalf of someone else?

Only if you are an authorized representative (e.g., a legal guardian). Include a brief explanation and contact details in your email.

What if my employer (Company Admin) requests my deletion?

Company Admins can deactivate accounts, but full anonymization of personal identifiers requires a request to Axhy directly — either by the worker or by an authorized company representative.

Can I change my mind after requesting deletion?

No. Once anonymization is applied, it cannot be reversed. Make sure you want to proceed before submitting a request.
